Originally scheduled for three hundred participants, the training session saw the effective participation of four hundred and forty (440) predominantly girls from the Women's Skills Compendium database Ivory Coast (COCOFCI). Under the sponsorship of Euphrasia Kouassi Yao, Minister of Promotion of Women, Family and protection of the child, and under the presidency of Joan Peuhmond, Special Adviser to the President of the Republic, in charge of Gender and social Affairs, a capacity building workshop in female leadership for young girls ran from September 15 to 17, 2016 at CRRAE-WAMU space Plateau.

The objective of this workshop is to give young girls / women graduates, members of COCOFCI tools and techniques necessary to make the best in an increasingly competitive society.

The inaugural lecture with the theme "Empowerment of the Girl, a challenge to go to the emergence," was given by Eugenie Attia, Executive Director YESIAMA Ivory Coast, a member of COCOFCI.
She emphasized, particularly in its development, the characteristics of the emerging Girl are education, education, dynamism, autonomy and ability to assume leadership. For her, these are the values ​​that must now convey and embody even the young Ivorian girls.

Jeanne Peuhmond, expressed immense pleasure and joy for this important ceremony demonstrating that COCOFCI actually unfolds. That's why she warmly thanked the Minister Euphrasia Yao for his unwavering commitment to contribute to the advancement and deployment of COCOFCI, and that the position the government is only the happiness of Ivorian women in general and of this organization in particular. The Special Adviser of the Head of State revealed that after intense action for the first target ie "high level executives women with professional experience," the time is right to refine the program interventions in favor two other targets including "Young graduates daughters" and "women of all levels who excel in their field of activity." For her, it is extremely important to put special emphasis on strengthening the capacity of girls to enhance their leadership and provide them with technical ability to allow them to make a difference at all levels and particularly in the areas of employment . To this end she said it was also important to refine its capabilities because we must keep in mind that our decision to succeed is more important than anything.

From the outset of his remarks, Madam Minister Euphrasia Kouassi Yao officially christened this target of 2 COCOFCI (girls / women graduates with the skills to say) "target of hope" because she says it lots of hope placed in them. She also returned to its values ​​that are very dear to him that are Love, Solidarity and Audacity that must appropriate the target of hope for better things in life because she confided, " only one is visible but together we are invincible. " These three words according Euphrasia Kouassi Yao correctly summarize the fundamental values ​​cultivated in the Compendium. "The time is favorable and that time is now," she galvanized. As she said, the President of the Republic His Excellency Alassane Ouattara, initiator of the Compendium has endowed women with a powerful tool to promote their rights, improve their employability (through employment or entrepreneurship) and allow them to position themselves in the management of public and private affairs.

Learners in general called on all those among women and girls who are not registered in COCOFCI to tackle it to benefit from the opportunities it provides.
