Euphrasia KOUASSI YAO, UNESCO Chairholder, Water, Women and Power of Decisions and Coordinator of the National Compendium of Women's Competences of Côte d'Ivoire (COCOFCI) took part Wednesday March 22 at the working breakfast organized by the Senate French. This meeting, chaired by Senator Philippes Mouillet, recorded the presence of French senators, the Deputy Chairman of the France-Africa Senate Group, Senator Yvonne Jean Baptiste Lemoyne, the Director General of CARE France and the Directors of The NGO composed of influential French women and their collaborators.

Following her brilliant intervention on the situation of women in the world and in particular that of Côte d'Ivoire, participants said that the ambassador of women of Côte d'Ivoire should extend her horizons throughout the world. They also expressed their desire to involve the Chairholder in meetings on issues related to gender equality. They therefore paid particular attention and welcomed President Ouattara's famous assertion that "whenever women take up positions of responsibility in enterprises, in the public service, in politics, decisions are taken with the Greater awareness, they are better accepted, their implementation becomes easier, conflicts subside, equilibrium returns ".

After the Senate, the Coordinator of the National Program Compendium of Women's Competences of Cote d'Ivoire (COCOFCI) will give a lecture to the International Catholic Center of Cooperation on the theme "What world do we want to build together" on Thursday 23 March 2017 at the headquarters of UNESCO, the structure of which it holds the chair.
