The pilot phase of the "National Deployment" sub-program of the Compendium of Women's Skills of Côte d'Ivoire (COCOFCI) started this Thursday, October 26 in Bouaké, precisely at the Palais du Carnaval. After the awareness-raising workshop on COCOFCI, thousands of women from the various departments of the Gbêkê region of the associations met again under the leadership of the coordinator of COCOFCI, special advisor to the President of the Republic. Alassane Ouattara in charge of the gender issue Euphrasia Kouassi Yao and the vice-president of the National Assembly of Côte d'Ivoire, Jeanne Peuhmond, godmother of the ceremony.

For the coordinator of COCOFCI, Minister Euphrasia Kouassi Yao, COCOFCI wants to be a dig reunion of all women with skills in all sectors and fields of activity throughout the Ivorian national territory to instill in them the values ​​of love, solidarity, daring and also work. This pilot phase of COCOFCI's "national deployment" subprogramme, which began in the capital of Gbêkê (Bouaké), will consist, according to Minister Euphrasia Kouassi Yao, of identifying the best women in their field of activity according to well-established criteria. .

 In her speech, the Minister also explained the compendium of women's skills in 10 points.
"The Compendium is a women's empowerment program, it is a decision-making tool, a directory of skills, a network of opportunities for all women, a way to reduce inequalities between men and women. women, a database of women, it is a powerful network of jobs and partnership, it is also a tool of connection with the diaspora, it is a nursery of liaison with the diaspora and finally the compendium is finally a tool of cohesion, of peace promotion ", explained with explanation the worthy daughter of Broukro village of Bouaké.
Seizing the opportunity to meet with administrative officials and people of the Gbêkê region, the Coordinator of COCOFCI, Euphrasia Yao Kouassi said that this project has specifically set several objectives.

All the competent authorities of the Gbêkê region were present at this ceremony, notably the regional prefect Aka Konin, the deputy of Bouaké commune Diomandé Mondeny, the mayor Nicolas Youssouf Djibo, the religious guides and traditional chiefs.

The only Ivorian woman holding the UNESCO Chair in water, women and decision-making power has indicated that COCOFCI has promoted the skills of women senior executives and girls graduates through a directory 13,000 women (12,000 in Cote d 'Ivory and 1.000 to the diaspora) which has been published and used by partners to appoint to positions of responsibility, to finance income-generating activities and to offer several jobs to women. In the coming days the census selection committees will also be set up in other cities of Côte d'Ivoire.
