Minister Euphrasie Kouassi Yao, Special Advisor to the President of the Republic, took part as a panelist in the World Summit and International Leadership Conference (WSILC 2022), from August 8 to 18, 2022, in Seoul, South Korea .

This experience-sharing meeting, which brought together more than 300 participants, aimed to explore new solutions in order to effectively address, in support of government efforts, critical problems such as conflict resolution, peacekeeping, poverty, environmental issues, climate change, women and youth empowerment among others.

During his presentation at the conference of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States (CEN SAD), the emissary of the State of Côte d'Ivoire, drawing on the experience of the Compendium of Women's Competences program in Côte d'Ivoire d'Ivoire (COCOFCI), edified the audience. Indeed, this model of rapprochement, promotion of cohesion and peace brings together more than 15,000 competent women who are moving the management of public and private affairs.

Holder of the UNESCO Chair "Water, Women and Decision-Making Power, Euphrasia Yao, also shared the experience of the "CREA Peace" program which means Communities

Regional for Empowerment and Peace; a strategic instrument of innovations, actions in a perspective of prevention, reinvention of empowerment and peace based on a leadership carried by the grassroots community (Family, customary chiefs, religious guides, associations). For Euphrasie YAO, “Peace is non-negotiable. She does not kill, she gives life. It does not destroy anything, it builds everything. Peace is built in solidarity and diversity. Peace is not a passivity, it is an activity. Therefore, being passive spectators to the interactions of the violent kills the peace”.

In addition to the communication of Euphrasie Kouassi Yao, in their interventions, Presidents Macky Sall of Senegal, Georges WEAH of Liberia, Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria, the former President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump, the President of the Commission of the European Union, Jose Manuel BARROSO, of the Prime Minister of Cambodia, Samdech Hun Sen, Cambodian Prime Minister, of the former Prime Minister of Niger, Rafini Brigi, the former Prime Minister of Canada, Stephen Harper, of the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, Dominique de Villepin, etc., emphasized "the urgent need to silence the guns everywhere in the world".

To achieve peace, at the end of this conference, the following recommendations were made. These include the need to give a chance to permanent dialogue, cooperation and action based on principles in order to achieve peace and sustainable development. The creation of a synergy of actions between all the actors of the multinational system to reverse the current trend. The support of all technical and financial partners for the promotion of the well-being of young people, a real vector of peace and investment for the benefit of young people, which appears as an investment in the future, for peace, for solidarity and for the sustainable development of states.

As a reminder, COCOFCI was initiated by the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Alassane OUATTARA in 2011, the day after the post-electoral crisis with a view to enhancing the role of women in the management of public and private affairs, to enhance women's skills at all levels, in all sectors without distinction of ethnicity, political party or religion. This part has not been exploited, it is necessary to find a place to provide an answer to the concern of his Excellency Mr. BRIGI RAFINI, Former Prime Minister of Niger and also Executive Secretary of CEN SAD who in his address solicited researchers at the effect of finding in their investigations a solution to thwart the old principle saying "who wants peace, prepares for war" and to achieve peace without waging war.
