Sacrificing to its tradition, the Unesco Chair "Water, Women and Decision-Making Power", proceeded on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, to the solemn return of the 6th promotion of Experts. It was in the conference room of the said chair located in Riviera Faya. The ceremony under the chairmanship of Minister Euphrasie Kouassi Yao, Holder of the said Chair, officially marks the start of the 2022-2023 academic year. For the institution, it was a question of presenting and explaining the operation of the training program for this academic year to the auditors.
This training program, it should be remembered, takes into account the government's concerns relating to development. This is why Mrs. Euphrasie Kouassi Yao returned to the government's actions at the National Development Plan (PND 2021 - 2025) level. According to him, this policy relates "in particular to the strengthening of inclusion, national solidarity and social action, the development of human capital and the promotion of employment".
To this end, she promises "to support the vision of Emergence of a united Côte d'Ivoire, of the new Ivorian, advocated by the Head of State". On the strength of this, she will say "that at the level of the UNESCO Chair "Water, Women and Decision-Making Power", with our teams made up of men and women, we are on the way to the realization and materialization of this worthy cause”.
The 2022-2023 academic year took place in the presence of several political and administrative authorities, including the Israeli Ambassador HE Romy Yadida-Clein.
